Announcements for March 21:

  • Today:  United Methodist Women are hosting a “Chili Dump” following the service today. Containers of chili will be available for you to take home and eat.  Donations will be given to UMW missions.
  • Monday, March 22:  Monday Night Bible Study at 7 p.m. on Zoom
  • Tuesday, March 23:  Parish Print articles are due to Miles Turner or the church office.
  • Wednesday, March 24:
    • Book Study at 4:00 p.m. on Zoom
    • Men’s Bible Study 6:00 p.m. on Zoom
  • Holy Week Devotions:  March 29 – April 2 at 6:30 a.m.  we will be having devotions at the church.  If you would be willing to do a short devotion on one of these days please call the church office (468-3722) and let us know.
  • Maundy Thursday Service will be at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
  • Good Friday Service will be held at Kankakee Asbury at 7:00 p.m.
  • Easter Sunday, April 4th there will be two worship services, 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.  The 10 a.m. service will also be posted live on Facebook.  If there are more than 50 in attendance at each service there will be overflow in the fellowship hall.
  • Sunday, April 18 at 11 a.m. our church will be hosting a rice packing event in our fellowship hall right after church.  This is hosted by Midwest Mission Distribution Center.  We will be practicing social distancing and only 50 participants max will be allowed.  Go to the church web page and sign up to reserve your place.
  • Alter Flowers:  Are given by Paul and Mary Gibson in celebration of their 50th anniversary.
