I moved to Manteno UMC in July 2022, returning to Illinois Great Rivers after 20 years in extension ministries. Most recently, I served as a missionary for 2 years in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Before that I was a Wesley Foundation director and campus pastor at Purdue University for 18 years and part-time associate pastor at First UMC in West Lafayette IN for 14 of those years. I started my ministry at Hindsboro, Mt. Gilead, Windsor, and Zion Hill UMCs. I graduated from University of Illinois in history, Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis with an M.Div. and Master of Theological Studies. Before I headed to Africa, I was working on my doctorate in history at Purdue and hope to finish it someday.

I have two grown children. Isaiah recently graduated from George Washington University in international development. Ella is a student at Purdue University in elementary education. My parents live in Mahomet and my grandma in Tuscola.

I want to get to know you at a deeper level! I am available to meet for coffee, food, a walk, or pastoral care by appointment.
